5 Diseases That Lead To Body Pain

We often tend to neglect the pains in our body as in most cases they tend to improve with time. But sometimes neglecting these pains could mean neglecting the warning signs that your body signals. Apart from evolving due to tiredness, stress, anxiety and various factors these body pains are also signals to some major ailments. And, these ailments need to be identified and treated for a better and healthy lifestyle. Here are a few of the major diseases that can lead to major body pains and that demand your immediate attention.

Rheumatoid Arthritis
This disease needs no introduction. One that has troubled the maximum number of people through their life. It is an inflammatory condition in your joints that causes pain and stiffness. It is majorly the result of an autoimmune condition that causes the immune system to attack the healthy tissues that line the joints. Mainly found in the older age group this disease causes long term pain, inflammation and discomfort to your joints which can hamper your day-to-day working. So, it’s necessary as well as important to give attention to the Arthritis pain and live a pain-free life.

People suffering from diabetes can have a condition of diabetic neuropathy. In this condition, the nerves in your legs and feet get damaged. These damaged nerves lead to pain, numbness, tingling and burning sensation in legs and feet, which can be very discomforting at times. These symptoms should be taken care to prevent lower leg amputations. Managing leg pain and cramps may also help prevent the condition from progressing and improve your quality of life.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
It is a disease that has potentially harmful effects on the brain and spinal cord i.e. the central nervous system. MS may lead to numbness or weakness in one or more limbs that typically occurs on one side of your body at a time, or the legs and trunk. Also, the electric shock sensations that occur while bending your neck forward are the result of MS. In the severe cases of MS a person may lose his ability to walk independently. There is no treatment that can eliminate MS, but recent studies using newer technologies have proved that it can be reduced to a great extent.

It is a long term condition which causes pain all over the body. People with this disease suffer increased sensitiveness towards the pain. The main symptoms of Fibromyalgia are widespread muscle pain, prolonged fatigue, sleep, and memory loss. The treatment helps but this condition can’t be totally cured. The pain may last for a year or lifelong depending on the seriousness of the ailment. Therefore proper care, attention and treatment must be given so that the Fibromyalgia can be controlled to the extent possible.

Almost all of us have experienced the flu and cold and the main symptoms are head ache, sore throat and coughing. But wait, that’s not all what the flu has in to offer. Flu can also lead you to have muscle pains in the legs and back. The feeling of tiredness and fatigue accompanied with leg or back pain are eventually the result of flu virus attacking the body. Therefore, neglecting the body aches as something due to tiredness or workout could turn out to be a mistake if you are suffering from flu.

So, it is rightly said that “the body is our temple and we our it’s priest.” To keep our body healthy is our responsibility but, more important is to give attention to the signals that our body gives in the form of aches in different parts of the body. These aches can be signal to some underlying ailment or disease that you may have neglected for long. So, before it gets too late let’s give our body aches the attention and treatment they deserve for a better and healthier lifestyle.
